About the role

Our Content Marketing Manager will lead the creation of our clients' marketing campaigns. The primary goal is to create great blogs and email content and to acquire new inbound leads via the virtual roundtables our clients will host.

The content will mainly consists of blogs, e-newsletters and event email invitations, online event assets (landing page, email reminders, etc.) and LinkedIn posts.

You will educate yourself (with our help and your own proactive curiosity) on digital transformation for small businesses. You'll meet and interview clients to help with research for blog outlines, you'll draft the marketing email and landing page copy yourself, manage sub-contractors (blogger, graphic designer, etc.) to get everything completed on time and of a high-quality.


This is a hands-on role that requires excellent project management skills,  communications chops for both clients and sub-contractors, strong aptitude and passion for grasping technology's impact on small businesses, excellent copy-writing and editing skills, and the desire and capacity to set reasonable marketing goals and achieve them.


Location & Schedule

  • Anywhere, this is a work-from-home position!

  • Monday - Friday business hours, EST hours, 8:30am - 5:30pm-ish

Responsibilities

  • Driving the creation of content that inspires FOMO in existing leads and that drives new leads to sign up for online roundtable events

  • Interviewing clients and conducting independent research to create blog outlines

  • Write marketing email copy for e-newsletter, webinar landing pages and occasional update for social media company profiles

  • Publish blogs, update websites and send emails to subscribers from HubSpot

  • Collaborates with sub-contractors to develop and execute campaign assets on time

  • Can present to bother internal and external stakeholders on results of marketing campaigns

 

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, with strong writing and grammar skills; editing skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on content marketing experience, preferably in the B2B space for companies in the U.S.

  • Strong understanding of inbound marketing, SEO and social media for B2B

  • High-level of curiosity; fast learner; desire to be reading about technology, digital transformation

  • Organized, extremely good at task execution and time management

  • Great communicator, both internally and externally with sub-contractors

  • Analytical, loves marketing analytics and uses data to inform decisions 

  • Confident and outgoing personality

  • Creative, willing to suggest unconventional ideas and to research when necessary

  • GSD attitude; someone who genuinely loves marketing
