Marketing Manager [Job Opening]

Hello, we are Simple Selling 👋

We're part of the dynamic IT and cybersecurity industry. It is growing fast and evolving faster than many other verticals. Simple Selling plays several specific roles within this industry: our mission is to pre-qualify, acquire and nurture great leads for small IT services firms.

We accomplish this by being the most specialized outbound sales, content marketing creators and client success managers the IT industry has ever seen

Our team is under 10 people as of today, 100% Latino, 110% excited about building something original and that will continue to be in high-demand for years to come.

Why is this role special?

  1. You get to have a massive impact. As our Marketing Manager, you’ll drive the content marketing for our clients, the IT Services firms. You’ll be able to learn from our recipe and also add your own unique touch to our marketing playbook.

  2. You'll tackle a variety of challenges. Our team is still small, and people wear many hats. You'd work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success — participating in every phase from ideation to implementation.

  3. Work with a talented team. Our team has included members from Honduras, Nicaragua, the United States, El Salvador and Spain.

  4. Join us at a magical time. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and delivering a service that is unmatched by any competitor out there, which gives us a huge green field to work with. You'll join at the perfect time to shape how we grow from here.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning the quarterly content marketing topics for each of our clients and ensuring that the 3 main marketing assets (blog, email and LinkedIn) are executed flawlessly and are having a positive impact on turning the sales qualified leads into customers.

Marketing is more focused on the nurturing and “creating value” phase of the funnel. It's a hands-on role in copywriting and editing blog articles, organizing and managing multiple deliverables, becoming the direct marketing contact with clients and remote contractors such as writers, designers, and videographers.

Some specific day-to-day tasks include preparing monthly blog outlines, coordinating with writers the delivery and reviewing/editing the final articles, writing the copy for LinkedIn social media calendars, coordinating social designs with our designer, scheduling the social posts through HubSpot, sending monthly newsletters to the prospects database, and reporting monthly marketing metrics to clients.

You'll be involved in brainstorming, analyzing and reporting metrics back to clients. This strategic part of the job will become an increasingly important part of your responsibility as you grow with us.
